In Canberra wild cats have become a real concern, with the government considering legislation that would declare these feral cats as pests.

They may be euthanised under this legislation, in a bid to get their populations under control and protect biodiversity in the area.

It also occured to me that if an area is overrun by wild cats, food sources are probably scarce. Ensure your home doesn’t become a feeding ground for wild cats, have your doors and windows covered with screens to keep any unwanted visitors out.
