Entomophagy, or the practice of eating insects is gaining in popularity around the world, and Deliveroo has launched a trial pop-up in London in conjunction with Eat Grub, an initiative to promote insects as a food source.
The founders hope this will bring delicious insect dishes to the British palate, while also promoting the nutritional and environmental benefits of eating bugs.
While organisers say they want to normalize entomophagy and promote its benefits, they also want to focus on taste.
