How long does installation take?
Most residential screens are manufactured within a few weeks of the measure and installed in a few hours. Our installers are in-house tradespeople, not subcontractors, which is how we keep quality consistent across more than 1,000 Victorian installations each year.
Can you clean your Freedom retractable screen?
Yes. Brush or vacuum the mesh gently, rinse the tracks with warm soapy water and wipe them down with a dry microfibre cloth. Do not use solvents or high-pressure hoses. Regular cleaning keeps the screen retracting smoothly and extends the life of the mesh. We also recommend retracting the screen when it is not in use.
Do you have timber-look colours?
Yes. Freedom Screens are available in a range of powder-coat finishes, including timber-look options, allowing the frame to blend with existing joinery rather than stand out. During your measure and quote we colour match the frame to suit your doors or windows wherever possible.
Can the screens be automated?
Yes. Motorised options are available. Manual screens can often be specified as motorised during the ordering process, making them ideal for wide openings, high windows and alfresco enclosures.
What happens if the mesh gets damaged?
The mesh can be replaced without replacing the entire screen. Every installation is backed by a 5-year limited warranty, and our local team provides ongoing servicing and repairs with a direct point of contact rather than a national call centre.
