I had a very tricky request for a screen to be located in a very tight spot. Bruno was fabulous in coming up with a solution – a hidden pull down screen. The screen frame matches my door frame perfectly, so the screen is invisible – yes there is a screen in the photo! Bruno personally managed the installation and he and his co-worker did an amazing job. They were quick and tidy (no mess left behind). I am over the moon with the result. I chose Freedom Retractable Screens recently to install fly screens to our doors in our new house. We installed 2 Infinity Zipline screens to a set of sliding doors and a set of French doors. Freedom screens did a great job, from initial contact on the phone, to the measure & quote & finally the installation. I’m in an apartment, so the job had some fiddly body corporate issues to deal with. It was not a problem & they did a great job, including moving & cutting my balcony tiles outside to fit the screen tracks. A service call to do a repair on our Freedom retractable screen fitted a couple of years ago was required. The technician who visited was very polite, proficient and made the repair, explaining what has happened and how we could avoid having the same problem again. The screen is a great product, works well, looks good and does the job keeping the house insect-free.

Absolutely love our screens. Had 2 screens installed, 1 on older wooden sliding doors and 1 on modern UPVC triple glazed single door. Difficult for young kids to open, easy to clean and our border collie has proven them to be indestructible. Did look at some other option which looked a bit cheap.

FAQs
Can you clean your freedom retractable screen®?
Yes, simply use a brush and vacuum regularly.
Do you have timber match colours?
Yes, we recommend the Dulux® Copper Pearl or ask us about our custom Sunburst colour.
Can they be automated?
Yes both the Freedom™ SmartScreen and the Freedom™ Infinity Zipline Roll- down can be automated using Somfy® technology.
Can our screens be used with curtains & blinds?
Yes, in most instances we can fit the screen around your existing blinds or screens, however to make it easier, we do recommend you install your screens before your blinds or curtains.
What finishes are freedom screens available in?
There are a variety of finishes available including powder-coated and clear anodised aluminium and coloured end caps and brake levers. Visit the Download Centre to view the full range of powder-coat colours.
Does the screen fit inside the reveal?
There are a number of ways your screen can be installed depending on your product choice. Freedom Retractable Screens are custom made for each individual client and may be face or reveal fitted to achieve the best solution.
Are our screens wheelchair friendly?
Yes, The ZL2 screen has a very low 12.5mm ramped bottom track which is wheelchair friendly.
What happens if the mesh gets damaged?
Test results prove the incredible strength and innovative technology of the Freedom™ mesh-to-track retention system, however if your screen does get damaged, a mesh replacement can be arranged by a distributor near you for a reasonable cost.
Do the screens have a Warranty?
Yes, screens are back by a limited five-year warranty with a nationwide distribution network with parts and service back up.
Is the screen suitable for windy areas?
Yes the Infinity has outstanding wind resistance, although we do recommend you retract the screen during very high winds.
Will my screen spring back if I release it?
Freedom Retractable Screens® the only screens available with the patented Freedom™ Brake System, allowing you to stop the screen at any position along the track and eliminating unsafe spring-backs.
